This project comprises a series of seven stairs for converted lofts on North Third Street in Williamsburg, Brooklyn and makes extensive use of parametric techniques to accommodate changing site conditions in each residence. All stairs are based on a similar palatte of materials and are composed of standard stock steel shapes and custom configured laser-cut and bent smart parts. Caliper Studio provided design, fabrication, and installation services.
