Caliper Studio designed, fabricated and installed a custom handrail system for RGS Holdings development in Harlem. Handrail system is composed of three elements – tempered glass panels, blackened steel post assembly and painted steel handrail. The post assembly is made of a bent steel plate with a contoured stiffenning flange and welded-on mount arms. It is then site welded to a standard c-channel stringer of a pan stair. Glass is mechanically attached to the posts. Handrail is site welded to the top of posts.

Caliper Studio is an integrated design office and metal fabrication shop located in Brooklyn, NY. Founded in 2003, Caliper offers both architectural services and custom metal fabrication to other architects, general contractors, and end users.
